The Beloit High School Student of the Month for August is Charlie Burke. Burke, a senior, is the son of Chuck and Josie Burke and is actively involved in numerous activities, including football, basketball, Student Council (where he serves as president), Future Med Club, KSHSAA Student Advisory Council, Chess Club, International Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the National Honor Society. According to his teachers, Burke is organized, hard-working and demonstrates a genuine care for both himself and others.
