Megan Forrest is Beloit Junior High’s new 7th grade science teacher. She attended McPherson College, graduating with her bachelor’s degree in education. Forrest also ran cross country and track during her time there. This 2025-26 school year will be her 13th year teaching.
Forrest also has a personal training license through National Academy of Sports Medicine. Forrest states, “I loved being a personal trainer, but when a position opened up here in Beloit, I had to snag it up.”
Her family has a long history with this district; her mother taught here (kindergarten) and even she graduated from USD 273. Now, Forrest has three kids in the district. This year she is looking forward to getting to know all her students and says the most fun part about teaching is “when you get to see your students graduate.”
