Scarlett Ludwig, a passionate advocate for seatbelt safety, is one of several students who have stepped into leadership roles for Seatbelts Are For Everyone with a personal mission. Having a close friend and two family members involved in car accidents who survived because they were wearing their seatbelts, Ludwig understands the life-saving importance of seatbelt use.
Her vision for the year includes taking more steps to raise awareness about seatbelt safety, particularly among younger students. Ludwig is excited about the club’s upcoming visit to the local elementary school, where members will speak with children about the importance of buckling up.
For Ludwig, it’s not just an activity, it’s a chance to help save lives. When it comes to leadership, she believes the most important quality is dedication. “You have to pour your heart and soul into something to make it the best,” she said. “You have to truly care about what you’re leading and be ready to take on any challenge.”
