For the sixth time in the last eight years, the Lady Trojans have advanced to the 3A State Tournament held in Hutchinson. The team defeated Riley County, Marysville and Phillipsburg on their way to earning the sub-state championship. The team will be announced at the Hutchinson Sports Arena no earlier than 2:45 Friday afternoon. The Lady Trojans are ranked fifth going in and will take on fourth-seeded Cheney at 3:30 Friday afternoon. They’ll play the first seed, Seneca-Nemaha Central at 6:30 and then wrap up competition for the day by going up against Lindsborg-Smoky Valley at 7:30.
