Demetrius Dunigan’s parents are Deandre Dunigan and Jessica Nothern.

He has been involved in football and track for four years and lettered in both. For football, he lettered his sophomore, junior, and senior years. In track, he lettered his freshman, sophomore, and senior years. Dunigan also participates in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Seatbelts Are For Everyone (SAFE).

Dunigan is currently working toward earning as many scholarships as possible so he can have little to no student loan debt. In addition to this, he is proud of upholding good grades during high school. His future plans are to attend Cloud County Community College for two years and then transfer to Fort Hays State University.

Dunigan’s inspiration is his parents and grandparents. He says, “My parents and grandparents because they’ve shown me what having a great work ethic looks like.”

His words of advice are: “Be serious about academics at a younger age rather than later.”
