On Friday, Aug. 16, BHS seniors came together for pizza and donuts to watch the sunrise and celebrate the beginning of their last year of high school.
Katyanna Gray and Ashlyn Loomis planned and put on the event, called Senior Sunrise, after getting the idea from the Emporia State University StuCo camp they attended over the summer.
The event had a very good turnout, with about 30 seniors in attendance. Jayden Mosher says her favorite part of the event was “talking with our classmates.”
