On Sunday, Sept. 23, the Beloit High chapter of Jobs for America’s Graduates-Kansas hosted its annual Initiation and Installation Ceremony. Around 120 people attended this special event.
They started off the afternoon with an ice cream social, including a variety of desserts enjoyed by all who attended. It was very laid back and gave everyone an opportunity to visit and enjoy the fellowship. After the social, all officers were installed into their positions and members were inducted into National JAG membership. English and drama teacher Mrs. Meredith Johnson gave a speech about how students have been impacted and have grown from BHS JAG-K.
