The Beloit High girls basketball team hosts Lakin for the first round of substate this Thursday. The boys team will host Ellsworth this Friday for the first round of their substate. Winning teams advance to the semifinals held on Tuesday, March 4 for the girls and Wednesday, March 5 for the boys, hosted at Scott Community High School. If either team moves on, they will participate in sub-state finals on Friday, March 7 for the girls team and Saturday, March 8 for the boys team.
