On Tuesday, Feb. 25, BHS held its annual class fair. A few new classes have been added, and some changes have been made to requirements and prices of classes.
Entrepreneurship will no longer be based around Trojan Grounds, but rather focusing on general business management skills. After the first year taking entrepreneurship, students will be able to work Trojan Grounds.
Trojan Threads is now opening for students to take as a class. For more information on how to add it to your 2025-2026 schedule, talk to Mrs. Alexa Romero.
Veterinary science and horticulture classes will not be offered again until the 2026-2027 school year.
Two new math courses can be added to your schedule, including statistics and essential math. Talk to High School Counselor Brennan Eilert to determine whether these classes will benefit you on your desired career path.
To take college algebra, you no longer have to achieve a 22 ACT score. If you have earned an A or a B in previous algebra courses and have at least a 3.1 overall GPA, you may take the class.
Many paid college courses offered through Fort Hays Tech North Central have undergone price decreases to help more students afford the classes. Most college classes offered at Beloit High are now around $50/credit hour.
