Carissa Smith, daughter of Brad and Kathy Smith, has been named Beloit High Student of the Month for March.
Smith’s teachers say that she is a hard-working, responsible young lady. She comes to class with a positive attitude and cares about others. They say she sets a great example for her peers, asks meaningful questions, helps others as needed, and is a joy to have in class.
Smith is involved in Future Med Club, tennis, Seatbelts Are For Everyone, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the school musical, and National Honor Society.
