Brown earns spot in 1,000 Kills Club

Senior Mylie Brown was recognized at the home volleyball matches against Minneapolis for reaching the 1000 career kills mark earlier in the season at the Maroon and Gold Tournament held in Hays. Brown has 147 kills this season alone.

She is a 4-year starter and letter winner, has been named NCAA All-League 1st Team three times, was on the 2021 3A State All-Tournament Team, earned a spot on the 3A All-State 2nd Team in 2021 and 2022, was named Kansas Volleyball Assocation 1st Team All-Academic for three years, and was on the 2022 and 2023 American Volleyball Coaches Association Phenom Watch List.

During the time Brown has played for the Beloit High Lady Trojans, the team has won a NCAA League title each year and reached the Class 3A State Volleyball Tournament two years, placing 4th in 2021.
