The fifth-seeded Lady Trojans went into the Class 3A State Tournament with a 34-5 record and exited the tournament 35-7. The team first went up against Cheney and lost in two games. They then battled first-seeded Nemaha Central, again losing in two. The Smoky Valley Vikings were the next competition and the Lady Trojans defeated them in three games, ending the weekend 1-2.
