Niemczyk accepted into Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame

Head Beloit High wrestling coach Andy Niemczyk will be entering the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2023. Niemczyk has coached at Beloit for 37 years and had 97 state placers, 23 of which were state champions. He has coached five state-placing teams, including the 2007 State Championship team. He will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the association’s annual fall clinic and awards banquet in Salina in October along with Doug Vander Linden of Burlington High School, Travis Keal from Mill Valley High School, and Tyler Caldwell of Goddard High School and Oklahoma State University. When asked about this achievement, Niemczyk said, “I am totally honored and humbled to be part of this group of great coaches that are in the Hall of Fame and I look forward to the banquet.”
