The Beloit High team of freshmen Charlie Burke, Luke Cheney, Jayc Darnall and Joel Rexroat were among three KidWind teams from Kansas that were recently honored at the Kansas State Capitol Building. The recognition comes as a result of their team earning the Judges Award at the National KidWind Challenge held in San Antonio in May. While at the Capitol, team members met and took a photo with Lieutenant Governor David Toland, toured the Capitol and had lunch with representatives.
