Next school year, Beloit High will have a new class called creative art. In the class, students can study different forms of art. Focus shifts from just making art to viewing art as a part of life after high school. Ms. Catrina Wilson plans on inviting other artists and speaking with those whose career is in the field of art to help the students get a view of art in a career.
A class called reading interventions is a new junior high class to help those chosen by teachers and counselors strengthen their reading skills. Ms. Cay Wildfong will teach the class.
