During spring break, the students who participate in band went to San Antonio, Tex. to give the band members a fun thing to do and a little break from all the playing they do throughout the year, including pep band, marching band, concert band, and all the other activities.
The students toured the Natural Bridge Caverns, ziplined, explored the Alamo, visited Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, went go-karting, played at Dave and Buster’s, went on a boat tour of the River Walk, bowled at a local alley, played at another arcade and spent all day Saturday at SeaWorld, including shows and rollercoasters.

They performed “Stacy’s Mom,” “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Paint It Black,” “Cupid Shuffle,” “Take Me Home” and “Country Roads” in a meadow at the Caverns.

“The 13-hour bus trip was definitely worth it,” Zelma Krone, a senior band member at BHS, stated.
