On Wednesday, Sept. 21, 24 Beloit FFA members competed in homesite evaluation and range management. The range team took first place and the homesite team took third. Beloit High FFA members took six of the top 10 places in the range contest (Riley Croisant – second, Xander Elam – third, Asher Zimmer – fourth, Carlee Domann – fifth, Kastle Domann – seventh, and Ella Manning – ninth). Ashlyn Knight placed second in the homesite evaluation contest.

These FFA students had to complete a range plant ID, general knowledge exam and range site evaluation. There is no state-level range contest, but around four advanced to state for the homesite competition.
