JAG-K officers tour Kansas State Capital

On Feb. 8, four JAG-K officers went to the Kansas State Capital with Mrs. Jacee Tice. While there they represented the Beloit program at the annual “JAG-K Day at the Capital.” They received a historic tour of the Dome, met with Senator Elaine Bowers, and then had a surprise visit from Majority Leader Larry Alley, who gave them a personal tour of the Chamber Senate. The students learned about how government works and how JAG-K is a bi-partisan accomplishment for the state.

Carlee Domann, Addison Beaumont, Alyssa Hajny, and Maddie Black were able to tour many parts of the State Capital, including the Senate Chamber.
