On Thursday, Jan. 22 through Saturday, Jan. 24, the Beloit High basketball teams will participate in the 41st Orange and Black Classic in Colby, Kan.
The girls will face teams including Colby; Concordia; Standley Lake from a school in Colorado; Wellington, ranked #1 in 4A; Ulysses; Goodland; and Hays, #3 in 5A. The Lady Trojans come in ranked #4 in 3A.Â
The boys will face Colby, #10 in 3A; a school from Pine Creek, Colo.; Ulysses; Goodland; Hays, #8 in 5A; Concordia, #7 in 4A; and Standley Lake, Colo. The Beloit boys go into the tournament ranked #5 in 3A.
The boys’ team will play against Ulysses at 3 PM in the main gym on Thursday.
The girls’ team first competes against Standley Lake at 4:45 PM in the main gym on Thursday.Â
