On Sunday, Jan. 11, Brody Litton learned that he had been selected to play for the West team in the 53rd Kansas Shrine Bowl. Litton was invited after a selection process that included more than 400 student athletes. There are strict guidelines on how players are nominated and elected, and Litton qualified for all of them. Litton was announced as a selection during the statewide Player Selection Show, which was streamed from www.KansasShrineBowl.com.
As part of participating in the Kansas Shrine Bowl, Litton is expected to fundraise for the Shrine Hospital and visit some of the children there. In addition, he will play in the 53rd Kansas Shrine Bowl against the East team on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
During halftime of the Beloit versus Phillipsburg girls’ basketball game on Feb. 6, Litton will be recognized for being invited to participate in the Kansas Shrine Bowl.
