On Friday, Feb. 13, the girls’ wrestling team traveled to Augusta to compete at regional wrestling. Two of the team members, Estefani Contreras-Munoz and Bently Pruitt, qualified for the state tournament.
Contreras-Munoz (overall 17-9 record) placed 7th and scored 11.0 team points. Pruitt (overall record 20-14) placed 7th and scored 9.0 team points.
Both will compete in at the Class 4A State Tournament in Salina Feb. 27-28.
