Several students participate in Mitchell County spelling bee

Several USD 273 students recently participated in the Michell County spelling bee.

There were five participating Beloit Junior High students: Wakefield Fincham, Aspen Forrest, Emerson Motes, Joshua Wilson and Liam Fugate. Five Beloit Elementary students competed as well: Max Miller, Slade Seyfert, Aiden Jensen, Connor Fouts and Melody O’Connor. None advanced to the next round this year.
