On Saturday, Feb. 21, the boys’ wrestling team hosted the KSHSAA 4A Regional here in Beloit. Two of the team members, Brogan Monty and Kellen Elam, qualified for the state tournament.
Monty (record 27-3) placed 1st and scored 26.0 team points.
Elam (record 18-12) placed 3rd and scored 18.0 team points.
Monty and Elam will compete in the KSHSAA 4A State Tournament on Friday, Feb. 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28, at Tony’s Pizza Event Center in Salina.
