Earlier this week, the American Red Cross ran the Student Council blood drive at our school for the 24th time.
BHS students and staff donated 21 units of blood, with eight first-time donors.
One unit can save three lives, which means it is possible that our 21 volunteers might have saved 63 people this week. Overall, our school has collected 459 units of blood at the drives.Â
The next StuCo-hosted blood drive will be in November!
